Program

The Florida Innovation Showcase 2008 was designed to afford extensive, quality interaction and facilitate more business opportunities for attendees. Ample networking time, both formal and informal, has been built into the agenda.

On Wednesday, March 19, attendees are encouraged to arrive early in the Morning and enjoy a round of golf or other activities at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort and Convention Center or meet colleagues and business associates for breakfast at one of Orlando's many fine restaurants. There are also several dining options on the premises at the Resort.

On Thursday, March 20 our day begins early with a hosted continental breakfast and networking opportunity, followed by breakout sessions and university/institute briefings that will afford you the opportunity to discuss trends in technology transfer and discover new developments in the following hot growth areas:

• Physical and Chemical Sensor and Diagnostic Technologies
• Data Mining and Analysis Technologies
• Imaging System Technologies
• Biomedical Technologies with Homeland Security and Defense Applications
• Biosensors and Diagnostic Technologies
• Materials Technologies
• Human Machine Interface Technologies
• Modeling and Simulation Technologies

Plenty of time will be allowed for networking breaks throughout the day.
