Looking for information about research activities in Florida? The Florida Research Consortium (FRC) is an excellent place to start.

As a strategic partnership of education, business and government, FRC works to build awareness of the impact research has on Florida’s economy in general and, more specifically, to provide information about exciting research programs that are currently taking place on university campuses and in private research institutes throughout the Sunshine State. To that end, FRC publishes numerous documents related to scientific research in Florida. Here you can view the Annual Reports, quarterly newsletters, white papers and other resources that are currently available from FRC for downloading. In addition, links are provided for easy access to other agencies offering related information and resources.

By its very nature, research is in a constant state of flux. On any given day, new grants are being awarded, new programs undertaken, new patents applied for and new findings announced. To stay abreast of the latest developments and of the increasingly important role research plays in Florida’s innovation economy, be sure to monitor this section of the FRC website on a regular basis.
